Website review before publication
The validation process will help you check that some common errors are not present on your Website. These errors may affect your SEO and the users navigation.
Rules will check all your pages, menus and resources. After the check, you will see a list of messages organized by severity: Low, Medium and High.
Of course, if you only use PageFabric to create prototypes, you can simply ignore these messages.
To start the validation process, go to Review tab in the ribbon, then click Validate Website.
Validation rules
| Rule | Description |
| Dead page detection | The process will check that your pages are referenced in menus or in links anywhere on your Website. |
| Image alt attribute | The process will check that you provided a value in Alternative text property for each image. |
| Link href attribute | The process will check that every link and button your Website has a correct destination and will not lead to 404 error. |
| Page description | The process will check that you provided a correct Description for each page (page properties panel). |
| Page keywords | The process will check that you provided Keywords for each page (page properties panel). |
| Page title | The process will check that you provided a correct Title for each page (page properties panel). |
